There's an invisible sign in front of our house. It says, "Mommy cats, dump your kitties here. This lady is a soft touch, and she'll feed you and your little ones." That's how we acquired Loki: During a severe heat wave of 1000 for three weeks, a starving little female cat came to the porch. I gave her water and finally some food, We realized she was pregnant. We got her spayed, but she turned up two weeks later with a litter of five. I found homes for all but the boy (now, Loki). Then his mama decided to stay. And now we have three
So now, year two in a row, a mama kitty has found our front porch and brought her kitties with her. This time I posted on Craig's List, and I have homes lined up for all of them. Here are some pix:
